Chris Osborne loves both digital and film photography, together with hybrid techniques that involve both digital and analogue elements. Polaroid photography, including alternative Polaroid techniques like emulsion lifts and image transfers, has been a major passion for several years now.
"These photos were all taken using a Polaroid 195 camera and Polaroid 100 Chocolate film. The location for the first is Granton, the second is Bangour Village Hospital, Dechmont, and the third is the railway bridge over Croft-An-Righ. The strange borders are produced by pealing off the back of the film unit instead of the front. I have just one pack of Polaroid 100 Chocolate left… my last pack of my all time most favourite film ever! Using it will be a major psychological wrench, but I’ll have to force myself sooner or later!"
