At the age of eight Donald Tainsh first saw the image of a paper clip appear on a piece of photographic paper in a saucer of developer. He has been hooked on photography ever since, primarily in documentary, landscape and theatrical genres. More recently he has taken up pinhole photography, working with a variety of commercially available and self-made cameras. He delights in having introduced his grandchildren to the very same experiences that drew him in the first place to this lifelong hobby!
